I have always walked past the Brighton Toy and Model Museum under the train station in Brighton and thought, "Hmm, I should really go in there sometime..."

So on Saturday I did!

It was pretty cool, although I thought there might be a few toys from the 80's and 90's but there weren't.

Lots of train sets, meccano, matchbox toys, puppets, models and loads of other stuff.

Well worth a visit!

Last night I went to a gig where my good friends Here There Be Monsters were playing at the Hobgoblin in Brighton.

They had put on a full afternoon of metal goodness with 8 bands on the bill.

I was invited to take some pictures at the brilliant Brighton Beer Festival this weekend. I had a great time, the band was good and the booze was even better. I managed to stay off the beer just long enough to get the shots I wanted...not all of them were in focus though!

I took this photo in the building I work in. It's a Grade 2 Star listed old mansion with some amazing features and history. this is one of the light fittings in the common room which also has a very impressive ceiling. See my flickr photostream for a shot of it.
